Ok back from the Holiday madness...I did get a few things done between everything and I have pictures to show off!!
I got a scarf done for my Daughter made out of Joann's Sensations licorice yarn in Blue licorice:
I did this lengthwise, with 3 rows of double crochet and then added a simple shell border. She likes it!
I finished up another set of potholders and got one of the next set done!
They are coming along! I have a few more sets to get done and my Daughter just designed one for me to make as well, so I still have a ways to go before I can be done with Christmas gifts, but they are coming along!
My Sister made a baby blanket for a friend of hers and wanted to show it off, but since she doesn't have a blog of her own, she told me to post it up here, so here you go!
She followed the pattern off of the label on the yarn (Baby Bubbles by Bernat in Candy Bubbles). It makes a lovely & soft blanket. She wasn't thrilled with the time that it took and it required more yarn then the label said, but overall she likes it.
That's it for me, I will be working on more things tonight, at least starting the partner to the Tree potholder!

Thanksgiving week!
Food is on the brain! How will I keep the pounds off??? I guess I will just have to keep a hook in my hands at all times!
This is what I worked on over the weekend!
Got a bit more done on this baby blanket.
Here's the partner to the other heart potholder.
Here's the set, ready for gift giving!
This is half of a 3rd set of potholders I am working on. I have decided to do designs based on the receiver, so I sat down with a pad of graph paper and drew up some designs! I'm almost done with its partner as well and then onto another design!
That's is all my fun for the weekend! It's potholder time at my house!

Friday, Friday, Friday
This weekend can not come soon enough! I've been tired all week long! I have been working on a couple of things. My Sister & I went to Joann's because they were having a sale on their Sensations yarns, so we just had to check it out! I got a few skiens to add to my stash! I got one of their big Rainbow Boucle in pink and am making a baby blanket for my sisters friend.
Here's that. I am not following any pattern just a basic ripple to show off the yarn. It's coming along nicely. I have been working on my Knitpicks afghan as well, but haven't really gotten all that far. I finished the heart potholder and will get the second one done this weekend. I have no plans this weekend except for dropping off and picking up my Daughter from friends houses all weekend, so after cleaning the house, I will be able to get some crocheting done!
Here's the other yarn that I picked up:
It's 100% wool but I haven't decided what I will be making! My daughter has dibs on the blue for a scarf though so I guess that will be one project!
I think that about wraps everything up!

A weekend of chaos
Well here we are again with Monday and I am not progressing very well with any project that I am working on! I got the green skull potholder done and started a heart one for my sister. I worked a bit on my knitpicks afghan. I have pictures of all of them.
See not much advancement has been made! Of course the afghan is for me anyway so I don't need to get that finished in time for Christmas, but it is so lovely that I want it to be done! I really need to get the potholders done, so that will be my priority along with the cowboy booties for a friend of mine! Those should be easy though. My nephew wants a scarf with the Batman logo on it so I will be attempting that as well for a Christmas gift! Oh dear!

That's it for today! Better get hooking!

Nothing to report
Well since Monday I have not really done anything crochet wise! I did start the other side of the green and black potholder but that has been it! Tuesday we went to the Hollywood Bowl to see Motley Crue and Aerosmith and then yesterday I was just too tired to pick up my hook! Here's a couple of concert shots just for the heck of it!

Monday rollout
Well here we are again...
I managed to get a few things worked on and started. I have been working on the blanket with my new yarns. The yarns are yummy! So nice and soft and I love the textures. Here's a picture of the progress so far:
Too bad the photo doesn't show the texture too well! The solid green is an Alpaca & Wool blend, that is so soft. A little hard to work with, but none the less very lovely. I have two more yarns to add and then the pattern repeats. I will add more pictures as I go along.
I also got another 1/2 of a potholder done while watching football yesterday! Here's that one:
Just need to get the other side done and stitched together.
Now my Sister bought this scarf (for a ridiculous price) at Lucky because she really liked it and because she knew that I would love to dissect it to make my own! So I worked up a square loosely based on the center of the scarf. Here's the scarf:
Now this is the square that I worked up in a test yarn. The actual yarns that I am using are these:
Now I don't know when it is that I will actually get this scarf done or even started with all of the other stuff I am working on before Christmas, but you never know...
That's it for me!

A New Month!
Well here we are in November already! I better get my fingers flying! I have a few potholders to get done before Christmas! I got yarn in the mail yesterday! My sister ordered me a Mix & Mingle kit from Knitpicks! I got the New England kit and I love the colors! Oranges & Greens, fabulous fall colors! I can not wait to start this Crocheted Curves afghan!
I did get one potholder completed. It turned out super cute and now I am getting special design requests! I will have to get some graph paper to figure some designs out.
That's it for today, I shall post on the progress of my new afghan as it goes along!
